A: Electricians make a decent wage. How about looking into a apprenticeship that will train you to become a journeyman electrician some day.
Q: i got a minor in consumption ticket?
can i get out of this ticket? reason is because the cop didnt even take the breath test on me and my boyfriend and his friend. he did see the beer in the car, but we did not appear drunk. We did admit that we drank (i drank 2 beers). but i mean it's kind of weird how the cop wrote me the ticket even though he didnt make us do the breath test. i also need advice on what are my options to remove the ticket from my record? how much is it? i live in plano, texas.
A: You admitted that you drank and you're a minor. It's against the law. No breath test needed.
Q: Please check this translation about cars?
Early planes were fragile and not reliable. They were very small and could not fly far. Later planes were build better and were safer. The Wright Brothers flew the first plane.
Los planos tempranos fueron frágiles y no confiables. Fueron muy pequeños y no podían volar lejos. Planos más últimos fueron estructura mejor y fueron más seguros. Los hermanos de Wright volvieron el primer plano.
Modern jet planes are very reliable. The travel fast and have few accidents. Planes can carry a lot of people now and fly anywhere in the world. Los aviones de reacción modernos son muy confiables. El recorrido rápido y tiene pocos accidentes. Los planos pueden ahora llevar a muchos de gente y volar dondequiera en el mundo
Future planes will be able to travel further for a smaller price. They will travel faster then ever before and will be available to more people. More people will buy their own personal airplane. Los planos futuros podrán viajar más lejos para un precio más pequeño. Viajarán más rápidamente entonces siempre antes y estarán disponibles para más gente. Más gente comprará su propio aeroplano personal.
A: If I were to alter anything, it would merely be to make it read smoother - as opposed to your translation. Just tiny grammar changes....:
"....travel further for a lower price."
"More people will but their own personal airplanes."
'Lower' because when referring to money and price, convention dictates lower and higher as opposed to smaller and bigger.
'Airplanes' plural because the people would not be buying one plane between them.
As I said....tiny changes...!!
Hope it's helpful,
:))
Q: Can anyone recommend an apartment complex in the Plano, McKinney or Frisco area?
Please only answer if you are or have lived in an apartment somewhere in the North Dallas area. I posted this before and didn't exactly what I'm looking for.
I don't need links to generic rental sites or comments about the area as I already work there and am familiar with the area. I just want to live closer to work and to save money from the area of Dallas where we live currently.
I am looking for an apartment complex with as many of the following things as possible:
1. family friendly
2. we care more about the quality and size of the apartment than communal amenities.
3. need a playground & pool
4. At least 1 car garage, attached preferred
5. 3 bedroom / 2 bath or larger, ideally 1 level
6. the more wood or tile flooring the better
7. I know gas in apartment complexes is a rarity, but gas is a plus, or at least the radiant smooth surface electrics
7. a good sized patio is a plus
8. A place that is lax on enforcing the rule about no BBQ grills on patios
9. Under $1600/month
10. Is pet friendly for cats
If you have lived in an apartment complex anywhere in the North Dallas, Plano or Frisco area or are in the same situation and are looking, I would appreciate some personal recommendations.
Thanks!
A: You should check out www.ApartmentRatings.com. You will be able to browse local apartments based on ratings from current and past renters. Best of luck!
Q: Do you know a good house in plano texas that match the following requirements?
I used to live in texas. then i moved to kansas. i might be moving back to texas now. the thing i need help with is buying a house. we want a house in plano texas that costs between 300k and 500k, lots of windows, good ac, no pool, around zip code of 75093. we don't like too many plants. preferably with walkin pantry, 3 car garage, 3+ bathrooms, 5+ bedrooms, nice patio, study, entertainment room, living room (or 2), maybe a fireplace, dining room, breakfast room, big kitchen with big island, good lighting, yes it is really picky.
Basically, I want to know if you know a good house, or a good website. Thanks!
A: nope
Q: Why are car dealerships closed on Sunday??? Are there any open in the mckinney or Plano, tx area on Sunday???
A: they are closed due to state regulation. some are "not open but they gates are unlocked and salesmen inside" on sundays.
Q: i live in plano garland rowlett area i need help to find a free infant car seat i am very low income?
A: If you go to planned parenthood they may have some resources to offer, also if you haven't already signed up for WIC do so-they too will have some parenting resources for you.
Check local churches for donations also.
Q: Collision Centers in Plano, TX?
I arrived here over the weekend (Plano, TX, 75024) and hit a deer that ran across the road on my way up here (pretty terrifying experience). Anyways, I'm not familiar with this area and I don't want to drive back to my hometown until I get the car fixed. The car is driveable and nothing mechanically seem to be damaged, but I'd rather get it fixed before making the long trip home. I took it to one place and they're telling me the damage is estimated $2,200... which seems a little high to me. The front driver fender, bumper, and drive headlights need to be replaced. I'm hoping someone would be able to refer a good place for me to take my car to with reliable service and reasonably priced.
Looking to pay out of pocket and avoid going through insurance (because it takes longer for them to process stuff and I want to get out of here soon).
A: There are many good body shops in and around Plano. Simply choose one. You are willing to spend $2200.00 out of pocket rather than use the insurance you bought for just such an incident? I'll bet insurance companies just love people that pay them big premiums and then pay for damages themselves. Look up and see what P.T. Barnum said, many, many years ago

Q: Wreckless Driving in Plano, Tx?
I was going down a (75) in plano and got stopped by an unmarked cop car..he told me and my friends to get out and asked us if we knew how fast we were going, I replied sir honestly no i dont, he told me he was doing a steady 115 and i was still pulling away from him. Now he then persued to arrest me for wreckless driving then started adsking if we had drugs, which then here came 3 other cop cars and a k-9 unit which searched my car, and it came up clean(they pulled us to the side and told us all they found what we had threw out) anyway i went to jail and bailed out, now i just got my court papers and it says my charge was "wreckless Driving 94" exactly. My question is i have never commied an offense and what is my next step and what does that 94 mean..and BTW after searchin my car and not finding drugs they were a little ticked. I appreciate the imput in advance..Thanks
A: It's not wreckless, it's reckless, ok? Anyone driving that kind of speed deserves to not only be pulled over, but also smacked good and hard. You could have killed one or more innocent victims with your stupidity and childish behavior. Hope they yank your license for a year. Thanks, Plano cops, for getting another moron off the road!
Q: What are those small black domes on top of the Plano Police cars?
Very curious! Thanks!
I forgot. Its Plano, TX.
Looking for a good picture of it. Its not the black dome by the window. This is literally on the top of the cruiser.
A: those are for gps tracking. The Plano PD probably uses this type of tracking system to better dispatch officers to calls based on their location.
It can also be used to improve their response times to calls. For example, if there is a call to the south side of town, it wouldn't make sense to dispatch a unit all the way on the north end of town. Using this system, the dispatcher could find the unit closest to the call and send them.
Our State Troopers have those same domes on the roofs of their units. Our city police will be getting them soon too.
Q: What is the best (safest) car to get a young female driver who is just learning. We live in Plano TX.?
A: A 1994 to 1997 Honda Accord. Safe and reliable.
Q: In texas, If i live in wylie could i attend plano schools?
I'm a sophmore and i moved here awhile back, i would like to go back in my junior and senior year once i get my car. i would be able to drive myself.
A: You have to be a resident of the area so if you can ask someone to allow you to have the address then yes but if you get caught you could be expelled
Q: why is the lifetime fitness in plano, tx closed today?
i tried to go there today and all the trainers were outside telling all the cars to go to another one...the weird part is that they just sent an email about having an open house this weekend, but they said that it might be closed tomorrow too. Did something happen? and what could it have been so that they had to close down the whole gym? and why wouldn't they tell us about it?
A: The strong winds on Saturday caused roof damage.
Q: Is 65K (pre tax) per annum salary enough for Plano, Texas?
I am married and my wife will not be working. I would appreciate if you can break the monthly expenses by certain broad headings like groceries, car lease & insurance, cell phone, entertainment, etc.
A: Yes, that is good for Plano. That's good for Texas, period.
This might help you.

Groceries would depend on how much you eat, but between two people I'd say $200 a month tops. Car lease and insurance also depends on what you get, but car insurance is a little better and cheaper since Plano is in Collin County and not Dallas County.
Go to City Search to find out more details about this area. I moved to Plano in January of last year, and I like it.
