A: I always cross Nogales so no help there. You need to own the car and have the registration in your name for the auto importation permit. You'll go thru immigration and auto importation at kilometer 21 where you get your visa and auto sticker. Be sure to get auto insurance - Mexican laws are different. Police are usually only a possible problem in larger cities where the traffic cops may be looking for a few extra bucks.
Just be polite and leave negative attitude at the border
Q: Does anyone know the driving time and distance for Houston to McAllen Texas by car?
A: I take Highway 59S to 281S. Last time I drove it was just a hair over 5 hours. I drove straight through without any stops.
Most folks will take 59 to 77 to 83. I find that to be a little longer, both in distance and in time.

I'm starting a new buissnes, I already sold my 2 first cars. I bought those two cars in my hometown McAllen Texas and I sent them to Mexico so a cousin could help me sell them and he sold them in 4 days.
The problem I have is that I bought those two cars relativly "expensive" and I've found in internet very good deals in Northern states like N.Carolina, Illinois, Virginia, but I have no clue how to bring them down here at a low cost.
Of cours I would only bring 1 or 2 because I'm new in this and I want to go little by little.
Can someone tell me how to bring these cars without me having to drive all the way? because that would decrease my profit.

A: You either have to title the car in the "other" state so you can drive it home. Or you have to buy a trailer and haul it back with your own truck. Either way can work easily. But you have to make it legal if you want to drive it back and the MVD can do that in 10 minutes if you bring your ID and the ownership papers for the car..

A: heb is a great place to work. they work with your schedule that way he can stay in school also theres always bus routes around heb's. the pay is also decent. if he cant get back in the house get a studio apartment and tell him to save his checks to pay rent. I did it around the same age with a child so it should be possible.

A: Monterrey, Mexico is in the state of Nuevo Leon, not Tamaulipas (they're next to each other), however, to get to either McAllen or Laredo, it's easier and faster to cross from Tamaulipas.
Laredo is slightly closer, it's about 2-2.5 hours and McAllen is 2.5-3 hours from Monterrey. Depends on the traffic.

I hate the weather here. I’ve lived here since I was born. I live in the city that has been called the hottest city in the USA, McAllen TX. Temperatures average from 100-120 in the summer. The temperatures in Spring average from 90-110. Everyone gets sick during the fall because on day it could go as low as 50 and as high as 100 the next day, and then as low as 50 the next, and high again at 90. During September it rains so much, the entire area goes on flood alert for that month, everything gets flooded. On winter, temperatures reach the 30, and 40. It even snowed 2 years ago. Often, hail damages cars. At anytime of the year, we get the strong gusts of winds that bring down lampposts, billboards, and trees.
Some people I know who have lived in many places around the world, say it’s the worst weather in the world. I’ve traveled around too, and I don’t think the summer in Egypt is as bad as the summer here. I’d like to find out:

Recently someone pointed out to me the reason the few trees we have here are all crooked, is because through out the year we get such strong winds blowing, and the trees can’t grow straight. As obvious as that sounds, I had just never thought of it.
