Q: Since when is it your governments job to pay for your heath care?
Shouldn't they just stop doctors and hospitals to stop their over pricing of $400 visits for a cough? Since when is it the governments problem if a natural disaster hits your town but you didn't get out when they told you to? If you live below sea level your gonna get flooded, if you live in 'tornado alley' your house will be destroyed... your the dumb@$$ that lives there, the gov't didn't tell you to live there. Since when is it the government's job to support people that don't work hard enough on their own to get hand outs from our taxes? That they proceed to buy nikes or cars instead of food or birth control with. Sorry, long day in the ghetto of Allentown and Bethlehem, Pa joloinaz... you actually helped prove my point that the governments only job should be to not let the doctors and medicine companies over charge... We shouldn't be paying $400 for a bottle of medicine that took $10 to make. I know how you feel, my grandmother died at the early age of 56 and was paying over $1000 a month for her prescriptions, but there is a big difference between you and the freeloaders that expect all these perks for nothing.

A: Don't be sorry for telling the truth.

Q: Close towns to Allentown, PA.?
I'm trying to get from Allentown to Maryland. I don't have a car and I know that by going Greyhound, it would take me 6 hours to get to Maryland. I've decided to take the train instead and I realize that there are no Amtrak trains in Allentown or Easton. I've decided that I need to take a cab over to a surrounding town. What towns are nearby so I can hop on Amtrak and not worry about spending too much cab fare? Unless there is a bus that can get me to Maryland in about 4 hours or less. If so where and how far?

A: e-town pa has amtrak that does take you to philly i think.

Q: Directions from NYC to Allentown, PA Airport (Lehigh International Airport) using public transit?
I don't have a car and I'm looking for a way to get to Lehigh International Airport from NYC

A: I know for a fact that theres a shuttle or a plane or something from Newark sponsored by Continental Airlines. I saw it when I was in LVI earlier this month flying down to Huntsville. Its called Continental Connection Bus Service, you can book it online via Continental.com. Thats the only direct way your probably going to find.

Q: 10,000 Cars?
For every 50 cars that arrive at a highway intersection, 25 turn right to go to Allentown, 10 go straight ahead to Boston, and the rest turn left to go to Canton. Half of the cars that arrive at Boston turn right to go to Denton, and one of every five that arrive at Allentown turns left to go to Denton. If 10,000 cars arrive at Denton one day, how many cars arrived at Canton? Please show me your steps. I get that 15 of 50 cars go to Canton and then its like HUH?!?! thanks for your help!

A: for 50 cars allen(a) = 25 boston(b) = 10 canton(c) = 15 denton(d) = 1/2 * b = 5 d = 1/5 * a = 5 total at d = 10 for 50 cars , c = 15 and d = 10 so c = 15/ 50 = 30 % of total cars and d = 10/50 = 20 % of total cars thus when d = 10,000 = 20 % of total car total cars = 50,000 so c = 30% of total cars = .3 * 50000 = 15,000 total cars arrive at canton = 15,000

Q: What station is the best place to park and ride into Manhattan?
Driving in from Allentown, PA area and planning to ride the subway/train into the city for the day. What is a safe and convenient stop to park our car and easily ride into town?

A: couple of options. you could drive into Hoboken, NJ and take the PATH over. Very easy. You could park in Tarrytown, NY and take MetroNorth down. Also simple.

Q: Allentown to Long Island?
How to you get from Allentown Pa to Long Island New York. Without a car? Like what trains or buses could I take? Or with a car the easiest way. Because my dad was saying something about it's hard to get to Long Island without running into traffic.

A: My friend, take Trans-Bridge Bus Lines from Allentown to New York's Port Authority Bus Terminal. Once there, take the downtown (southbound) "A", "C" or "E" train (Blue Line on the subway map) from PA Bus Terminal to Penn Station. At Penn Station, purchase an LIRR rail ticket and take the LIRR to Long Island. I hope this information is very helpful. Good luck Native New Yorker

Q: Where do I go to fix car speakers and car lighter ?
I just bought a used car and the speakers do not work on the entire right side, which I guess would most likely be a wiring issue. Also the cigarette lighter is broken. So, I wouldn't bring my car to a mechanic, and I called places like Best Buy and Circut City but they will only look at it if you bought something to be installed. So where does one go? I live near Allentown PA if that helps. Thanks! I just bought a used car and the speakers do not work on the entire right side, which I guess would most likely be a wiring issue. Q: Trying to find a good dealership in eastern Pennsylvania...?
Does anyone know where I can find a good dealership that sells cheap cars in eastern Pennsylvania, possibly around the Allentown area? Cars that usually sell for around $1,000?

A: You're better off finding a $1000 car from a private party. A legitimate dealer selling a car that cheap is selling you a liability... it wouldn't be worth it for them. You may want to try a local junk yard... They may sell you something that runs for like $100 - then at least you know what you're getting.

Q: How much will it cost to tow a car from Phlily to Allentown, Pa?
I want to buy a car that needs some work in philly and was wondering how much it would cost (approximately) to get it towed to my house around Allentown. It's like an hour and 15 minute drive. Please no random guesses-i can do that myself. Thanks!

A: Well, according to Mapquest, it's about 62 miles from Philly to Allentown. Of course, it'll be a bit different depending on where your car is in Philly and where it's going to in Allentown. I don't know how much towing normally costs, but I imagine towing a car that far would cost a lot. Consider this idea: Join AAA and they will tow it for free. You would need to get their Plus membership, which runs around $100, but it gives you free towing up to a distance of 100 miles, and you're covered all year.

Q: Where can I buy a cheap car near Allentown?
I'm looking for my first car and I'm having trouble finding anything under $1,000. Where can I find a cheaper, yet reliable vehicle?

A: Go to a car auction. Some of them have cars for $500. I got my first car from an auction and saved $3,000. Just be sure to give it a good inspection before buying because they are sold in as-is condition.
