Q: Does anyone know, where in the Syracuse area, I can buy raffle tickets for a Shelby they're rebuilding?
I saw it on the Syracuse news, 10/04/06 & I believe it was an auto body school offering these tickets to be sold starting at thanksgiving, car raffled in June. Any information, what school, their location etc etc would be greatly appreciated

Q: Car rentals in Syracuse, NY, requirements.?
I am 21 and have a South African drivers license and will be travelling on an EU passport.
Will I be able to rent a car there with my age and the license I have?
great, my license is in English, I have no endorsements and I also have an international drivers license
A: Hi rhapsda,
Well you can rent a car in New York if your South African Drivers license is written in English and has no endorsements on it.
If it isn't in English then you will need a International Drivers Permit (IDP) to go along with it. The IDP will be written in English and basically lets the car rental company know that your SA Drivers License is a valid license.
You will however have to pay an extra Young Driver Surcharge (approx $50 a day for NY).

I want to drive up to syracuse to catch an Amtrak train but the only problem is that i dont know the cost of overnight parking for my car to sit there for about a week untill i return...? I really need to find out because if its too much then i have to find an alternate ride.... PLEASE HELP!
A: It's very very cheap. Amtrak uses the RTC (Regional Transportation Center). The cost is $5 per use - not per night - whether you're there for one night or 100. Even better, if the main lot is full they let you park in another lot for free.
Just remember to have the $5 in cash.
Don't park at Carousel...they don't allow overnight parking.

A: Don't go there . I went and they tried to scam me out of a 1980's car saying 1990s and putting 1000 $ on the prices. If you do check out there main cars millage . They don't look that good for the ammount of miles they've done .
