Q: I have a 71 impala with stock 350 engine and 2 brrl Rochester Carb. I want to upgrade.?
I want to upgrade to an Edelbrock Performer Series 600 cfm 4 brrl carb with electric choke with the matching Performer intake. Will I notice a drastic change in performerance if I do this? Should I run a 600 or 650 cfm on this car? Whats the highest cfm I can go? Please advise.

A: Ur right on th money, u could go with a 600 or a 650 cfm but not more because ur motor is stock, it will be a different story if it was not stock, and i just dont mean the headers or exhaust,even though it will help.and yes u will notice some change but not sure about drastic, to get that you will need to do a lot more which also means more money.

Q: When driving from Rochester, NY to NYC for a Yankees game, where is the best place to drop off you car?
Im assuming that dropping you car off and taking the subway in is the easiest method. I just don't know where is a good spot to do that.

A: Do this...when coming from the Thruway (I-87), once you cross the Yonkers/Bronx line (past the Empire City/Raceway and past exit 1 - McLean Avenue/Hall Place) you will look for Exit 13 (East 233rd Street). You will be in the Bronx and the highway (I-87) becomes the Major Deegan Expressway. Get out at the E. 233rd Street exit and bear right. You will then bear that right along a curve and you will be automatically on Jerome Avenue. Pass the second light (you'll see parklands to the right and a cemetery to the left). and start finding a parking spot (on either side of the street). After that, start walking downward until you see an elevated structure in the middle of the street. That is the "4" subway from Woodlawn ($2 fare with MetroCard..but buy $4 for the round-trip...trust me on this). Take that to "161st Street/Yankee Stadium" and it will drop you right in front of the ballpark. The ride is approximately 15 minutes. Don't even CONSIDER driving to the stadium....parking and traffic is a mess down there. After the game take the "4" back uptown to "Woodlawn", the last stop...you'll be against the crowds and not have to deal with buying another MetroCard since you had done this already. Go to your car and head back up past E. 233rd. Go straight a little bit (don't bear left on Jerome) and you'll see the access entrance back to the New York State Thruway northbound. That's where you enter the ramp on the left.

Q: I have a 71 Chevy impala with 350 2 brrl Rochester carb. Car lacks power going uphill and even stalled once.?
I initially was having problems when I accelerate on flat ground. The car would jerk for a bit and then just stall. I took it home and changed the spark plugs out and it ran fine, but just the other day it stalled out going up a hill. The next thing I was going to do is change the fuel filter if I can find it. What else should I check?

A: Fuel filter is located where the gas line attaches to the carb . there should be a large nut there .Remove distributor cap and look for cracks and wear on the electrodes . Replace points .Then ohm out spark plug wires they should be no more then 15k ohms. Make sure the coil has a good ground . Remove coil and clean with 200 grit sand paper

Q: Train or Rental car from Rochester, to Buffalo, to Brockport NY?
I don't know which to use for my trip to New York. I will be landing at the Greater Rochester Airport and will be going to see U of R, then SUNY Buffalo and then SUNY Brockport. Should I get a rental car and drive from location to location or would a train ride be best? (I don't even know if a train runs to any of these locations, I'm clueless, help!)

A: Driving would be best. While Amtrak does stop at Rochester and Buffalo, getting to the college campuses from the train station can be problematical. And Amtrak definitely does not stop at Brockport. I lived in Buffalo for 4 years and could never find a good way to get to the SUNY Buffalo Amherst campus from the Amtrak train station in Depew (it requires transferring through three NFTA buses). Get a rental car from the Ro-cha-cha airport and drive. It will be the easiest way. Hope this helps.

How can I find a place that will rent out a sports car...enterprise and hertz have just like regular cars and im looking for something like a convertible mustang, pontiac solciste, nissan 350z, or smething like that. does anyone know a car place that actually rents out those cars? i tried to google it but no luck.

Q: how would i get to the cinema in medway from rochester without a car?
