And Cost2Drive.com also found a cheap flight on Jet Blue for $135 round trip between Buffalo and Orlando. So that gives you some idea of the cost involved. Not to mention that its over 18 hours in the car so you may need to factor in the cost for a hotel.

A: It is impossible to say how long you will be held up at the border, and if you choose to cross by bus you won't be able to pick your crossing time that closely anyway. I have found that the crossings at Buffalo have been fairly fast, much faster than crossing at some other places I have used. I do agree that the bus route is probably the best option. Most likely you would cross at the Peace Bridge at Fort Erie, but there are others that would require a longer drive, which makes no sense for you if you need to be at Buffalo Airport. The drive to the airport is quite easy from this crossing, probably doesn't take more than 20 minutes if traffic is ok. Best of luck and enjoy your trip.

A: Somewhere that there is a 24 hour store with a big parking lot, such as a super walmart. Leave it in the parking lot. If it's 24 hours they wont suspect anything if someone notices the car there because you could be a customer shopping inside.
