Q: Does anyone know if theres a train that goes from Springfield Illinois to chicago IL?!?
im takeing a trip and i have transportation there but not back! & i dont have a car so i dont know if anyone knows if there is a train route or a bus route i can take. If anyone knows please help me and it would be greatly appreciated!

HA HA go to your type of junk yard for cars in your area. and take the complete assembly out that you need and YOU do it..at approximately 1/4 the price..by the way..put ALL nuts and bolts in your pocket..you do not know what you may need at home..or what will break on you at home when doing the job..... Q: ticket for tapping on your car horn. in springfield il?
I, have a question. I was visting Springfield,il from Los angeles ca. new years of 2006. I'm sure someone out there has had this problem before. when someone that is in front of you and they are driving 3-5 mph with no turn signal on. i gently tap on my horn to let him/her know that others are on the road. It was just my luck that a under cover police officer was in another car when i did this. he never cited the other car for no use of signal. he told me it was against the law in springfield il to use your horn. and that i could have cause a road rage by tapping on my horn. I then nicely told him that i was not from springfield il and that i did not know the laws of il.rules of the road. he then said that was too bad and then hit me with a $75.00 ticket for unlawful use of a horn. i took it up with the citys attnys but was told pay or lose my license. so i paid What i would like to know is why do we have car horns if it is unlawful to use them. was i right or wrong. please help me.

A: That sucks. The cop was definitely being a jerk. Was it a city ordinance? I'm not aware of any law like that in Illinois State rules of the road, but some towns in Illinois have their own traffic policy. I just received two city ordinance tickets in a Chicago suburb for break lights and registration lights, even when I fixed the problem on the spot. Regardless... I use my horn all the time in Illinois, no doubt in the presence of police. The argument of being from out of town, unfortunately, wouldn't be a defense. "When in Rome, do as the Romans."

While Springfield is small, there are many attractions such as New Salem that are not within walking distance or accessible via public transportation. Q: Need to have a phone number or to speak with a consultant in a corporate office that handles Springfield Va.?
Tried to buy a new Beetle but it didn't work out because I have Cancer. The dealership in Springfield Va. acted very un-professionally and I want to file a formal complaint. Refused to give me back my Beetle, told me they sold it before the deal was even final. bank turned me down because they felt I was getting a bad deal from them. This was going to be a cash sale also. I had bought 3 passat's from the same dealership and this Beetle. I was never treated like this before. Made me walk to the train station, approx. 1 mile away, which wouldn't have been all that bad, but I also have a heart condition. If there is nothing done about this, I promise you I will never buy another Volkswagen from anybody. The sales lady was very nice and professional, the sales manager was the problem. Lied to me about my car and threatened legal action before I was even approved. Someone needs to contact--me immediately !!! Thank you for your time in advance

My brother was recently arrested for obstructing a police officer. He gave a false name when he was being questioned while the driver of the car was having a DUI test. After giving the wrong name the police officer arrested him but let the driver go home since he was under the legal limit. Currently looking for a great criminal attorney in Springfield. Any Advice?

A: OMG. This is sooo weird. I just went through the SAME thing your brother did. Well, kinda. I gave my real name, but I lied and told the police I was driving, when really my bf (who was drunk and already had 2 DUIs) was the one who drove. Anyway, they heard from witnesses that I wasn't the driver (I hadn't drank a sip) and they threatened to jail me for lying! The officer said he would've if there were more officers who was working tonight. Anyway, they let me go and I totally dumped my bf. I'm not sure of any good criminal lawyers (since I didn't get arrested), but check the yellow pages and call around about their history. p.s. I'm in Springfield, Il too. Gosh this is freaky. Wonder if your brother and I had the same A hole cops too!

Renting a car from either airport is a good idea. The traffic is not that bad (I should know, I'm from Southern Cal). The travel site is easy to use, but there is nothing wrong in asking for help.

I am driving from St. Louis, MO to Watseka, IL. I am going to stop halfway there in Springfield, IL for lunch and to let my daughter get out of the car and have some fun. I have no credit and I need to buy a car. Can't get a co signer because everyone I know has bad credit. Also I can't get approved for a lone from my bank because I have no credit.
