Q: Need a Shelby Mustang.?

A: There were 2 different types. a GT-350 and a GT-500. The GT350 had a 289 engine and the 5GT00 had, I believe a 428 CJ (Cobra Jet) engine. the GT500 is much more expensive.

Q: i had a fractured vertabrae that fused together by themselves in 1999 along with 5 bulged disc . what can i do
in 1999 i was in a car accident and took the hospital which they found nothing wrong. i kept having a lot of pain so i had an mri done. it shjowed i had 2 fractured vertabrae and they both had fused together. i go to a chiropractor to help keep the pressure off. a doctor from columbus ohio came to marietta ohio and read the mri and said as long as the chiropractor helped to keep going. the doctors refuse to give me anything for pain. the only pain medication i have for this is dayproi 1300 at night for pain for my shattered arm. my arm was jerked completely out of the socket. i have the roror cuff stretched and inflamed so i am in a lot of pain. the doctors here refuse to give me anything like thru the daytime to help with the pain. i was on victicon for my shoulder and my famile doctor jerked me off this medication .i have a ery high tolerance to pain so i need something to knock this pain so i can sleep at night

A: The first thing you need to do is get your story strait, because you said that they found nothing wrong with you at the hospital, and then later on say that your arm was completely jerked out of your socket, and then say that your taking medication for the arm being shattered. I'm inclined to disbelieve anything you say, because of being in the medical field for 20 plus years, I seriously doubt that with those kind of injuries the hospital would have found nothing wrong with you. Seek drug counseling, and learn to spell!

Q: Switch to motorcycle in Atlanta?
Age 41, Planning to Switch to Motorcycle in Marietta, GA. My reasoning: 1. Driven Motorcycle for about 12 years in my 20-early 30s (before I Migrated to USA) - No issues about driving skills 2. Plan to drive only in the City Roads (Home-Work ~9 miles City Roads). Dont plan driving on Freeway or Long distances 3. Save on High Gas costs 4. Love Motorcycle riding Qs: 1. I hear it is a risk in US since Car drivers who dominate the road dont see a M/c... Not sure if this is the case for City Roads too. 2. A: I made the same change as you are contemplating. I have a Honda 450 and I get 50 MPG city and 70-MPG highway. My insurance cost is $100 per year! I live in San Diego though and we get very little rain. There is a real problem with driving a bike in the rain. The getting wet part is nothing compared to the sliding around corners part! As much as it rains down your way you will probably need an alternate form of transportation In the U.S. you will need to be a very defensive driver. People oftentimes won't see you. I have people change into my lane all the time. Fortunately a motorcycle doesn't need much room to escape. .

Q: Is there worse traffic on the interstate than on I-75/85 in Atlanta, GA?
My gosh in my commute home the traffic was a bout 1 mile per hour! (lol) There were too many cars out there....It doesn't matter that it is Thanksgiving week...it is always bad. It did take me 45 min to go for about 4.5 miles of interstate because they were all backed up going North. (Toward Marietta/Chatnooga)

A: Spaghetti junction on I 285 on the Atlanta bypass is usually worse than I75/85. On the East Coast- The beltway around Baltimore & DC would come close to be in first place West Coast- all roads going E, W, N or S through LA, Orange and San Bernardino Counties. 45 minutes to go 4.5 miles is actually pretty good for Atlanta, especially if that was during rush hour. If you have never experienced Atlanta rush hour, you really need to try it some time.

Q: I Have a Question about amp hookup in a car! Help!?
Im gettin the new 13 W7 in my car with a pioneer head unit and a 1500 watt tantrum amp. What kind of wires do i need and how much will they be. or if i get it hooked up somewhere will they have the wires there? I live in Marietta GA.

A: first make sure battery is disconnected..........for stereo......get an aftermarket wiring harness (so you don't go cutting factory wires and all that) which runs you at the most $20 and sometimes autozone sells it......follow color pattern which usually takes a few minutes.........for connecting amp, red wire to battery with at least a 20 fuse, black wire is ground, which can should be conected to a good clean metal part and make sure it's all metal and no other power flows through it. you will now need to connect the REM cable to the head unit which is usually the blue wire (I usually use electrical tape to cover my splices even if I use the twist or tube type connectors to prevent them from coming loose and shorting when you least expect it), finally, connect the red/white rca cables from the head unit output to the amp red/white rca input. once all stereo and amp connections are done, connect the speaker +/- on amp and sub enclosures appropriately. This should be a rather simple connection since you're only hooking up one amp and no crossovers, etc. enjoy your sound and remember the 50 ft law, if you can.......jk!

I just bought a 2005 Pontiac GTO. I have the completed sound system from my old car and just need it professionally installed into my new ride. I am looking for stealth, and sound quality, nothing flashy. I have MB Quart Q-series components, a JL Audio 10W7 sub, two JL Audio amps, and an Alpine 9855 head unit. I also have a bulk kit of Dynamat Xtreme that I need installed into my trunk and doors. I will not use HiFi Buys in Roswell due to a bad experience with them. I am now considering other options, and hopefully someone on here can refer me to a high-quality, reputable shop with plenty of references. I would prefer not to drive all the way to Marietta, Lawrenceville, etc. It is not a requirement, but someone with experience on the 2004-2006 GTO will be helpful.

A: Hello. I cant completely answer your question, but maybe I can help. I dont believe in "big-box" car audio companies. Support your independent, local shops. Also remember that just because someone has a piece of paper saying that they know something, isnt always the best way. I am not MECP cert, but only because I dont make any more money to get the paper. However, I do have 16 years of professional experience that speaks for itself. Just dont think that book knowledge makes one the best choice over another. Look at some demo cars and other installs. Again, support the individually owned shops. They tend to care more about you and your business. Maybe I helped.
