Q: Does anyone know of a AUTOMATIC volkswagon jetta/passat for a good price around Jacksonville,FL?
I am looking for a nice reliable car because I am starting college soon and also have to get to and from work. I have about 4000 dollars and would love a Volkswagen jetta or passat or honda but cannot find one (volkswagon) that is AUTOMATIC! Is anybody selling one or know where I can find a good car? I live in Jacksonville, FL. Thanks!

A: First of all if you want a reliable car do not get a used VW. They are nothing but problems around that price range. Honda, Toyota, and Nissan are well know good choices. Also, look for a Geo Prizm they were built on the same assembly line as the Toyota Corolla in Ca and 100% the same besides the branding. Another great reliable car that you can get cheaper because most people do not know about them is a 97-98 Saturn SL, again made in US and run for a long time. For more info on any car you are interested in go to a forum such as www.saturnfans.com or forumtoyota.com etc...

Q: What is the best "rent-a-car" option if i want to travel from New York to Jacksonville, FL for few days?
...prices/cars etc. Anyone? =) I'm planning a trip next summer there (I'm from Europe). I will land in NY and be there for few days, but the rest of the time I need to be in Florida. That is why I am considering of renting a car and drive "down there" and spending few days (and nights) in some other cities (also suggest where to go on the way to FL). Thanks all!

A: My husband used to work as a branch rental manager in Jacksonville for Enterprise Rent a Car. He has relocated to a different part of the state now. I know that Enterprise at some locations has a set of one way cars. They have awesome service too! My husband would stay as late as he needed & always wanted to make sure the customer was completely satisfied. Enterprise also owns National & Alamo. I would suggest giving them a call & ask them your questions.

Q: what is the best car dealership in jacksonville florida?
For someone who has no credit established yet.

A: Let me start out by saying I'm not when it comes to auto repair. Last year I had an accident with my Pontiac G6 and I wasn't sure how to fix them. I tried to search the Internet for help, but the procedures were way too complex for my skills. I ended up going to the dealship for my repairs. The dealership tends to charge more than mom and pop repair shops, but they've seen all sorts of situations (auto insurance problems, repair warranty issues, etc) and they seem to always find a way to help me. Maybe you can try calling auto repair shops in Florida to see if they can help you. http://www.autorepairshopreview.com/Florida-Repair-Shops.html

Q: Anyone know where I can find a Cash Car in Jacksonville Florida?
Looking for one 1,500 and under if anyone knows of any, one that is in okay condition. Doesn't need anything major fixed. A 4-door of course. If you know any websites that would be helpful

A: http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/search/car?maxAsk=1500 Also, check your local penny-saver classified newspapers. You can probably forget Autotrader. It's mostly dealers, and you'll probably get screwed. "Okay, 1500 dollars it is! Now if you'll just write us a check for that plus this 400 dollar documentation fee, you can be on your way!"

Q: What are the laws in Jacksonville Fl concerning cars that play the "boom, boom" noise?
I have tried working with the managers of the apartment complex.... NO HELP.... called the police.... NO HELP.... depending on what officer you talk to, you get a different story. Bottom line... they don't do anything about it. It is emotionally distruptive to me. I can't stand it. Any ideas?

A: If the noise is from a vehicle, the law says it should not be hear more than 100 ft you can be cited (tickted). My suggestion if you are not getting any justice with the patrol units in your area, request the shift Lieutenant in reference to increased patrol. Continue through the ranks of Zone Chief and Patrol Chief if still no justice. Also make contact your area city coucil personnel. Keep detailed notes of the times and dates the disturbances occur and what was or was not done by the police.
