Looking for a site where I can look up a person's name in Florida and see what cars they own?

A: Here is an article that might help you: http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesArticle/id-2668.html It does suggest going to the DMV or a library in the area to check it out. It will depend on where exactly the vehicle will be registered.

Some retired people live in Florida only in the winter months and live in the north in the summer.

Q: Is it safe to buy cars from Florida?
I have been searching for a car on ebay for the past few months and noticed that the cheapest cars seem to be in Florida. I heard rumors that there was high amounts of salt from the ocean or something like that that wears the cars down faster than usual. Can anyone tell me if there is any truth to that, and also, if anyone knows a cheap shipper of vehicles from the States to Canada, I would appreciate the help.

A: My brother just got a car from down south Florida and its doing well in the midwestern climate. I'd go with the facts that FL and CA have more vehicles than they require, but overall, if you can test drive the car or get some reference checks done, you should be able to get a good deal. By the way, if you're in Canada, the cheapest cars over the long run are actually Japanese cars (I say this from owning and driving Japanese, American & German cars for over 8 years). Terra2Imports and Japanese Car Imports are two of the top sites for importing cars to Canada. They will help you with shipping and auction deals as well.

Q: Are cars in Florida supposed to move over if there is an ambulence coming in a hurry??? Is it the law?
I need to know if it is the law for cars to move over to let the ambulence pass through under any circumstances??? If they dont, then are they breaking the law?

A: Yes it is a law. in all 50 states if you are able to move out of the way of the emergency vehicle then you are supposed to move. If it is not possible for you to move over then you are supposed to stop where you are so the emergency vehicle can move around you. You are supposed to move to the far right unless you are on a one way street then you can move to the right or left. under NO circumstances are you to move into oncoming traffic to make way for an emergency vehicle. if the vehicle can get around you THEY are the ones who have the responsibility and the right of way to move into oncoming traffic.

Q: Are new cars cheaper in Florida than in Georgia?
I looking to buy a new Nissan car and I just wanted to know if it is cheaper in Florida or any other state.

A: Nope, the vehicles will cost about the same, you may find a desperate dealer somewhere, try the internet, it worked for me.

Q: Why are most ebay cars from florida and texas?
Seems like most sports cars come from these two areas. Is it easier to avoid a salvage title in these states? Is anything fishy going on?

A: I think people have a better chance of selling a car that is from the south because they are generally better kept and maintained then those from the north. The roads are better and there is less traffic in those states (with the exception of Houston and Miami) which means there is generally less wear on the vehicle overall. This also means less wear and tear because there is no salt and damaging weather to contend with. Also, cars, because of their being no property tax and less sales tax in those areas are less expensive and don't depreciate as rapidly as cars from the north.

Q: Have'nt seen any lately, but what were those barcodes on the windows of cars in Florida for?
I remember those on a car that parked at my apartment every night. Was it an old rental? I asked this question a year ago because I was wondering why they were on so few cars with these. Most answers said that they were for police to scan the cars but I have'nt heard of this at the DMV. It was a big sticker on the windows that I saw in a number of cars two years ago but none latelly. Oh, ya in Florida.

A: I have seen those too.. I thought they were on rental cars. A type of easy inventory for the renatl agency.

Q: Where can I rent luxury or sports cars in South Florida?
My younger brother is going to his Senior prom in May, and I am looking for a sports car or luxury car to drive him in for the night. Does anybody know where, and the rates for any good places in South Florida? I have checked sites like Avis, Budget, Hertz, but they will not show their fleet, or guarantee that they will have a nice car for that date. I am in Davie, I'm willing to travel to the Miami area as well. Thanks!!

A: Try here http://www.advancedexoticcarrental.com/2007/

Q: How can I see reasonable prices for florida cars online?
When I look at Yahoo autos, ebay and autotrader online most of the cars are listed by dealers! I am looking for a lightly used mazda 3, Toyota Yaris, Nissan Versa, or something economic on fuel that isnt a total bore to drive.

A: Try automall.com they have second hand pricing lists - lots of linked sites all over the States Its not the car that's boring only the people driving them - sounds like you've got a good selection.

Q: What are the large barcode stickers on windows on cars in Florida?
I see them all the time, they are pretty large in size, and so far I have only seen them on cars in Florida. I think they are generally on the back passenger side window. What are they???

A: Those are for people that in live Condos that have a bar code reader at the main entrance gate. You mostly see these on high end condos.
